Most movies I have grown up watching have a scene, where the main character just rolls out of bed and is so motivated to start their day. Well, that is not me. My motivation to get out of bed is my dose of caffeine and a hearty breakfast.
The feeling of sipping on my cup of coffee while eating some toast, parathas or eggs is the perfect way to start my day! But not every day goes the way we plan it. On most days I am running late and end up skipping breakfast. This just makes me hangry and let’s be honest, is not a very healthy lifestyle choice. I know we’ve all been there and I think I have found the perfect solution - A coffee smoothie.
Smoothies are delicious. They are easy to make, healthy, packed with nutrients and a great breakfast option. Adding some Impulse Coffees to my smoothie has made it extra delicious. It gives me a kick of caffeine and fills my tummy, all in one cup! I know what you’re thinking, smoothies are fancy and complicated to prepare. We completely disagree. Ingredients of the smoothie recipe
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 tsp of Impulse Coffees
- Peanut butter
- ½ cup of milk
- Protein powder (Optional)
- Honey (Or any sweetener of your choice)
Step 1: Start by brewing your favourite flavour of Impulse Coffees. Add 2tsps of coffee to some water and mix till the coffee dissolves.
Step 2: To a blender add 1 frozen banana, milk, 1 shot of Impulse Coffees, a spoonful of peanut butter, 1 tsp of honey and 1 scoop of protein powder.
Step 3: All you have to do is blend it and serve it in a tall glass!
You can jazz up this smoothie with seasonal fruits and nuts to make it more nutritious. One glass of this smoothie is super healthy and delicious. The flavour of coffee just elevates it up a notch!
